Volunteer Work
Thanks for the Help

What a fantastic day we had. In three hours our volunteers hardened a creek crossing that needed some help after the winter snow melt. By placing concrete grid blocks across the creek, it gives a stable surface for motorcycles, mountain bikes and hikers to cross without disturbing the creek bottom or sides to the creek bed.

A special thanks to: Ranger Bob Frenes, Robbie Walton, Steve Walton, Bob Brenner, Liz Brenner, Nathan, Daniel, Jeff Leonard, Tracy Allison, Dan Allison for their efforts.

Jeff Leonard and Ranger Bob Frenes removed several downed trees off the trail, and Dan and Tracy Allison hardened a second creek crossing. Bob Brenner and Dan Allison checked for downed trail signs on the Blackrock Mountain Trail.

The remainder of the day we had some great trail riding, Bar-B-Que and fun camping.
All told we had 36 total volunteer hours for the weekend, great job everyone!
